龙泉青瓷始于南朝，兴于北宋，盛于南宋。龙泉青瓷有哥窑和弟窑之分，哥窑黑胎厚釉，釉面布满裂纹，呈现金丝铁线、紫口铁足的特征，为宋代“官、哥、汝、定、钧”五大名窑之一；弟窑白胎厚釉，青如玉、明如镜、薄如纸、声如磬。2009年9月30日，龙泉青瓷传统烧制技艺入选人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录，是也是目前入选的陶瓷类项目 。
